message: The Praia Sol Hotel itself is new, clean, tidy, friendly and offered good food, facilities and service. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous
However the location of the hotel itself makes access via a secure route extremely awkward particularly late in the evening.
Two of our party were attacked and robbed in the access lane to the rear of the hotel in the early hours of the morning. This followed a similar incident in the same area the previous week.
Be aware of this when you travel and would advise that guests use taxi's to access the hotel in order to avoid any risk particularly after dark.
